- The client needed location specific stock display to the customers so that customers can find only the items that are available in their locality.

Solutions
The client is one of the top five distributors in UAE for FMCG distribution of Dry, Chilled and Frozen Food Products and International Brands. The client was looking for an integrated grocery solution to streamline their business operations and tracking stock in-flow and out-flow. We have delivered an integrated grocery solution to the client that was included web store, mobile app, picking app, and last mile delivery app.

Full Integrated Online Store- The grocery store front used by shoppers to find thousand of products through powerful multilingual search & advanced filters and can easily order required items.
- Navsoft developed mobile apps for shoppers so the shoppers can easily search and order products anytime from anywhere.
- We developed a native Android based pickingapp using which admin can create picklist selecting pending orders and assign them to specific warehouse.
- Warehouse staff can login and view picked orders from web as well as and picking app.
- The picking app allows staff to scan item barcode, scan basket code, enter shortage of items, return items, etc. and complete the picking process.
- This picking app allows warehouse staff to update product prices as per order prices and move it to the invoice process to generate and print invoice for the order.

Automated Last Mile Delivery App- The last mile delivery app helps the admin to find all vehicles that are reserved for delivering the customers’ orders and add vehicles for delivery.
- Each vehicle has a specific loading capacity that tells the admin that which vehicles can deliver orders so the admin can assign vehicles to delivery boys accordingly and select specific delivery zone.
- Admin can setup zip codes for the selected location and select a warehouse for the zone so that when orders are coming to that zone, it automatically redirects the orders to the specified warehouse for shipment as per defined timeslots.
- ‘Check-in’ function of the app indicates that the delivery person is ready for dispatching the assigned orders and the delivery person can enter the starting kilometre reading of the vehicle which will be tracked by the admin from the backend.
- The delivery person can deliver an order at the customer’s door and take digital signature from the customer on the app and leave customer feedback.

Intelligent Order Processing & Backend Operations- Navsoft developed a robust backend management console for the application admin to manage all backend operations including order processing, stocks, inventory, customers, shipment, etc.
- The grocery solution has an in-built intelligent order processing engine using which pending orders can be grouped according to the delivery slot and order processing steps like picklist generation, invoice generation, delivery planning, shipping manifest generation can be performed.
- The web based backend panel allows the app admin to configure stores for the retailers including their business name, logo, payment gateways, shipping methods, and so on.
- The platform has a defined Order Cut-off Time to trigger an automatic scheduler which fetches all pending orders of the last 24 hours and generates Picklist automatically.

03. Generate GRN for Picked Orders
Warehouse staff can scan order items and match scanned quantity with order quantity to complete GRN.
